Land Trusts

We represent land trusts – charitable organizations authorized to hold conservation easements under Federal and Texas law – in negotiating transactions with landowners and on issues related to governance. Because conservation easements are perpetual in nature, it is vital that the conveyance documents contain provisions allowing land trusts to practically enforce easement terms to protect conservation values.
